How does this compare to the size of the Zmax courses ?

It's about the same size, and without the poles that Zmax has there's almost nothing to limit the course designs. It's a great site, though if it's wet the paddock leaves a bit to be desired.

I was there last June and it was a good time. It would have been better if it were not ten feet from the sun. But great site.

It's one of the best auto-x sites within 6 hours of Charlotte in any direction.
If you haven't been, you owe to yourself to go at least once.

The hottest and most miserable I've ever been... CMP, Black Lake, ZMax in that order. That said, I'd take any of them on a July Saturday.

Still better than pushing snow. It's the south boys, suck it up.

since no SCR forum anymore, I'll just drop this here … great fun … fantastic course, great weather (as though any of us has anything to do with that ) sloppy driving … but hopefully it took some of the rust off

I'll 2nd what Walter said. Course was a blast. Had to learn how to shift into 3rd! In anger. Didn't always go too well.
