1990 Miata 1999 1.8 engine ( 0.040 overbore, 11:1 forged pistons, 2005 turbo intake cam, double valve springs, head and manifolds ported 1") 4.3 Torsen Headers Intake Racing radiator Oil cooler Walbro fuel pump/DNA pressure reg AC delete Megasquirt 800/350 springs Koni race shock/ground control adjusters Delrin eccentric bushings/poly bushings Cage Fiberglass after market hard top Carbon fiber race seat with 5 point harness No passenger seat R-comps
Car is prepped to GCR STL rules. I'm going to try to make the Black Lake event for testing. This looks like it should land in DP for solo. Any other opinions?

If you are just testing you could always do Seat Time Only.... or one of the Prep classes if thats where you fall...

I would probably just run XP ,,, but I dont see anything that would keep it out of DP .

It depends on your objectives. If you want testing time with no pressure and no competition, STO (Seat Time Only) was created for that purpose. If you want the correct class for the car, it is DP (pending an on-site inspection, of course.) If you want local competition for regional championship, most of us Prep drivers have moved to XP. (I ran the Spitfire in DP for more than 15 years, but there are very few cars still in that class.) If you want TOUGH competition, register in the PRO class as a DP car (As a side benefit, PRO almost always run in the best conditions of the day.) A-Mod and D-Mod are also options, but I don't see any reason to do that instead of using one of the options above.

Thanks guys. I might just run STO as suggested. I plan on running at my STL min weight of 2636# since I want to get a feel of new suspension at my race set up.
