Radio for the pits and grid

Just a thought. Have you (the organizers) considered adding an AM radio transmitter to your announcer equipment? I think it would be a great benefit to everyone attending. They could tune in their car radio or a handheld radio to the frequency and listen to the event live. 

You can pick up a DIY AM transmitter that will accept an RCA feed from your existing equipment and cover about a 1/4 mile for about $40.

Thoughts?

Posted in another thread. CCR apparently has a transmitter that they use for hill climbs and such. They just don't set it up for the AX events.
