I will be looking for a car I could possibly co-drive in Pro class this event. I don't care what, just want to get behind the wheel of something different. Otherwise I'll bring the 3 out. Figure I might still be able to trophy for the season if I keep at it just a little bit.

There is a course map on Facebook, on the CCR-SCCA group page. Individual events are not getting much attention on the forum these days. Changing times, I guess. The forum is still where I go for a quick update on entrants and points.

Course map up. I was having difficulty with photobucket. I checked FB, but must have missed it. Yes, I'm sure there are a lot of challenges in putting these maps together. Thanks for all you do ! See you Saturday. Great forecast !!

Course map up. I was having difficulty with photobucket. I usually glance at the forum each day .. FB is such a PITA to find anything in particular … at least for this luddite, that I only check there a couple times a week …and if something isn't resent (as in the last few min/hours) I don't usually find it I'll be completely out of touch when everyone does like SCR and dumps their forum and relies totally on FB

Several years ago, Ed Brackney was complaining that all event registrations were on computer, notices and registration by mail were dead, and the club newsletters were a thing of the past. He commented it seemed strange a computer would be required equipment for an autocross. True, but the Internet and Bulletin Boards (now dead) and Forums (now at death's door) and Facebook have allowed us to reach hundreds and hundreds of new competitors. This has, in turn, allowed us to afford sites like ZMax and Black Lake. Those sites were absolutely out-of-reach back in the days when we averaged a few dozen competitors per autocross. I'm still grumbling about 4WD and turbos. But times change, and we keep up or we move on. I'm not necessarily keeping up, but I'm not ready to move on.

the advantage of the forums is that they are single entity … the disadvantage of FB is that they are multi million entities ...

I try and keep both Facebook and forum informed of news. And on Facebook I keep the registration links and course maps toward the top of the page.

I never use facebook, I find it too complicated for my simple mind. I guess if the forum dies, I won't be able to find out about the events.

I'm always looking for an experienced co-driver for feedback on setup and things. I think I have things more or less sorted at this point. It seemed to be working at Wilmington last weekend. I couldn't manage the shift to third required for the incredibly fast finish, or I might have been in contention for second in CAM-C, and that's with me driving.
It's a 2011 Mustang GT. It has Maximum Motorsports 435H0 springs and camber/caster plates, Koni yellow shocks, a Maximum Motorsports front K-member, Steeda bllet rear upper and lower control arms poly on one end and spherical on the other, FRPP control arm relocation brackets, Strano front and rear adjustable sway bars and a FAYS2 Watts Link. Wheels are Enkei PF01 10.5x18 with 275/35/18 Bridgestone RE-71R tires. The tires are well used, but they still seemed to be working at Wilmington.

Also looking for a co-drive Saturday, preferably one of the Street classes, but would run in Pro.
