Transplant From Northeast Ohio - Question?

Hi, I am a 40 year member arrived last November from Akron, Ohio.

We moved to Hendersonville, NC after retiring. I did marketing research,

my wife was a nurse. Sold my ITR Mustang and went back to an ITA/IT7 RX7.

I raced one of those for many years in the 90's. Just lost my best

buddy Gary Martz - we raced identical cars for a few years.

He went on to EP and did the Runoffs for many years in that class.

I also flagged with Lake Erie Communications at Mid-O and Nelson Ledges

hundreds of days. Would like to do that at races here, too.

Thinking of running the end of October event at Road Atlanta in the IT7.

Might want to make the Mid-Ohio Runoffs as a tribute to my late friend. 

Does anyone have contact info for Steve Rose from Burlington, NC who ran

STU in an RX7 at the Daytona? Perhaps I could update the car to those specs.

You're in luck. We can get that contact info for you from our registrar. I also think a great resource would be Steve Eckerich who builds, races Mazdas and does Scrutineering for SCCA. Steve is the RE for CCR and lives just north of you in Fletcher, NC. I believe Steve is on his way back from the SCCA runoffs at Daytona but he will see your post soon and reply. The region always has a need for flagging and race admin staff.
