How difficult is it to get an SCCA time trial license?
If someone had a lot of racing experience, but no road racing, would he have to go to some kind of school before qualifying for a license?
Thanks.

This site is a good place to start: www.sedivtt.com "Street Prepared"(autocross class) with required safety equipment is lowest prep entry level. Other classes are GCR race classes.

With previous race experience you will most likely get signed off. Send me a PM with contact information and lets see what we can do.

Thanks. Not difficult at all. The TTAC representative (me) can sign you off. Are you already a SCCA member? Send me your racing experience and I can take care of it. Craig Farr farrout48@gmail.com

Thanks for the comments, I will get on that directly. I have a late model stock car (asphalt short track car) that I am making into a track day car and am looking to stack up a few different organizations to race with around Charlotte.

Get it ready to turn right also and bring it out to the Charlotte Motor Speedway in August or Carolina Motor Sports Park, Kershaw, SC in May for the CCRSCCA Track Day events.
