so, ive flirted with autocrossing over the years. an event or two a year, tops. don't think I made a single one last year, and maybe not the year before.
anyway, ive wrapped up my 64 el camino build. last time I made an event was in this, when it was still spray painted, carbureted, and stick shift.
I'm hoping to make it out Saturday to the first event of the season, and continue on with most of the rest of the season this year.
so, on to the stupid questions.
1. is ccrscca running a cam class this year? 2. if so, what class would a really mild pro-touring 64 el camino fit in? 3. any tips om autocrossing a 700r4 automatic? I'm thinking leave the column shifter is 2nd and run it. 4. what is pax, and should I worry? 5. will I be able to renew my annual scca membership at the event? 6. is jeans, t-shirt, steel toed boots, and a helmet still acceptable? 7. anyone wanna co-drive/tutor my lame self?
thanks Michael

Michael- The Facebook group page gets much more attention these days. But to try to help out, CCR is running a Pax CAM class this year (http://ccrscca.proboards.com/thread/6760/2016-solo-class-changes-additions), attire sounds wholly acceptable, and I have been told you can renew your membership on site at the event. As to where you fit into CAM or a better definition of Pax, I would post on the FB group. www.facebook.com/groups/ccrscca/
