My son and I want to attend this event, but we are both Novices.
1.We both have non modified street vehicles and I am trying to figure out how to classify them. 2010 Ferrari 458, and 2015 Audi S5
2. Is it easiest to buy magnetic numbers and letters?
3. Will we need to bring our own helmets or are any there for rent
Thanks, Aaron

Click on register and there is contact info for the event host. I would answer but I am new (this region) as well. SCCA has spec on helmet requirements. Most places have loaner helmets. Not sure on your class but there is a novice class. Hope this helps some. Come say hi at the event. I am in Silver Dodge Charger

In Novice Class you will get an additional run and instruction from one of CCR's many veteran autocrossers. So you do not have to worry about any car classing at this time. As for numbers, magnetic numbers are what most people use, but painters tape is also used by many and it is available in our Tech Inspection area that is mandatory for all vehicles that participate. We also have loaner helmets free of charge to anyone that doesn't have one. Hope to see you and your son in June.

I am guessing that you will not have a hard time getting an experienced autocrosser to help you out in the Ferrari!
