Can someone please confirm the TT times? I think I've seen three different times between the supps and Facebook. Is the TT group running into the evening/8PM ish, or is it only going to be 12:30-4?

Agreed, but in this case, the Facebook post was correct, and the supps were not. Thanks for posting the revised schedule, though.

Although temperatures soared into the 90s, the TT at CMS was a blast. Good event and it is nice to get an opportunity to hit our "Charlotte" track in a TT car. Thanks to all who worked hard to put on this event as it has become a favorite for many drivers, myself included. I just wish my car had behaved, but the heat got to it and I was forced to park after only 2 sessions. Hopefully everyone had a great time. Next up - Barber and TGPR.

Friday, August 12th at CMS was a long day for workers and drivers. The opportunity and ability to conduct such an event requires the stars to line up right and staff to volunteer to do so. Fortunately we had CCR members that were appropriately licensed with redundancy to cover the primary sanction positions and other region's members to join in to help out with F & C and timing. The ability to afford using such a facility requires adoption of multiple resources. By combining the test day entries with Targa, PDX and Track Trial the day became doable. Without the Targa entries we would have been minus about 150% of the Time Trial (PDX/Track Trial) entry fees. If we do a similar event next year, we may do a different date (earlier) and different format. Over all the Time Trial/Targa event went as planned. We did not expect to lose a late afternoon PDX/Targa session due to a Targa competitors Mustang oil line failure/fire but outside of that we were able to follow the latest published schedule fairly well for as complicated as the days activities were. As a note to instructors/drivers, place your helmet in the car seat or an interior position that can be reached while entering the car and not on the ground next to it. We had to stop one car from entering the course from an helmet-less passenger occurrence and its easy to do with such in a rapid pace in grid if your helmet is out of sight and you have been wearing it earlier and your head still senses its presence. With 17 Track Trial and 12 PDX drivers participating on the Friday track day at Charlotte this year the numbers will need to improve next year to consider conducting another one. A thank you to the drivers that did come out and support the day. As I was tied up with working the event, I did not get a chance to play but will try to work that out for the future.
