Thanks for a great, if slightly cool weekend. I really prefer that over rain or 100 degree days. Great folks, plenty of track time, fine food and drink. Who could ask for more. See ya at Wolf Ridge in a few weeks.

"Slightly cool" is a bit of an understatement...hehe. But I agree it was a great weekend and Sunday's weather was awesome!

Wasn't nearly as bad as the Feb National race!

Wish I could have made it out Sunday, Rankins did his best to convince me to get out there. Unfortunately, I had a wheel bearing going bad at the end of the day Saturday, and there was no way to fix it in time.

BTW - who won the sets of Continental Tires?? what a great prize. Sadly, I had to leave early to get home so my son could attend a birthday party that night.
Hopefully someone worthy won a great set of tires!!

The Continental Tire drawing winners are:
Track Trial Driver, Joe Armstrong (#70 ITE ) Solo Driver, Mark Marske (#165 EM)
Neither one was at the Saturday evening social
They get their choice of any available set of 19" or smaller Continental/General tires.

Glad everyone had a good time. It's a lot of work but worth it. Brian did a great job of pulling the social together with our wives' help, Steven ran timing flawlessly, Blake did a fine job in the starter stand and Mike ran race control very well. Makes a difference when the right people are in the right place. Thanks to Steve Eckerich for running tech, Sheryl, Jane and Lisa registration, Clyde Bales for coming from Atlanta to teach us how to install the timing equipment and run the program. It was great to see the Solo folks having such a good time and tossing around big cars and trucks like sports cars! Hope we can do it again next year. Now, on to Wolf Ridge!! See you there.
