I always liked the Alpen Inn.

We've done a lot of searching and have found a very helpful couple in Lori and Phil Dean, owners of The Little Inn on Main St. The really have their fingers on the pulse of what's available locally for the weekend of the hillclimb or any other time you wish to travel to Banner Elk. Please call them, as they are the "official" source of lodging of The Rock-N-Road Hillclimb at Eagle's Nest. There contact numbers: 828-898-6109 or 800-851-4397.
