Non-SCCA Track day?

Doesn't seem to be sponsored by any organization other than Atlanta S2K club, which makes me question the safety of something since it doesn't seem to stress any 'instruction' or have any NASA or SCCA backing, and not mentioning rollbars or Nomex or FIA seats or harnesses of any kind............

But still, $200 is mighty tempting to get us newbies onto a track.

The saftey is really up to you if you dont drive over your limits you should be fine. Just watch out for the other people.

From the sounds of it it should be fairly safe, just don't over-drive it. $200 ain't bad for 2 hours on the full track however, you will use up a whole bunch of brakes and tires and it will wear you slap out.
