Looking ahead to next years event, I am searching for photos of this years Eagles Nest site that show sponsor logos and banners in the background. This will help represent the marketing potential to our sponsors of this year and potential future ones. Also, I am looking for pictures that show a car on course with background that demonstrates the fact that the course is indeed a mountain. With twenty years of Hillclimb experience, I personally found this event to have the best all around potential for becoming a classic. With the requisite photo material, I have a chance to get media coverage in US and European publications. Already there is upcoming television coverage in the University of North Carolina system network that will reach many of the people in the Carolinas. So, before you or your friends lose track of what they captured, think about sending it my way. Brian Gause CCR-SCCA Time Trial Chair/BOD brian.gause@conti-na.com

I'm getting some photos sent in and they are going on the CCR site. I'll let you know if I get some good shots of the banners.

I know that I have several photos with the Cool Shirt logo in the back. And some with the Auto Spa in the backgound. Of course all the cars have the Continental Logo on them. For next years event I have in mind locations for sponsors banners that will assure that they will be in all photos. We need Contental banners in several places up the mountain. I will be glad to come out and help locate banners so that they are prevelant in all photos.

Richard,
Just wanted to thank you for the great photography. Those pictures were great! Few drivers get the chance to take pictures because they are too busy with the car and event.. and years later, they wish they had.
My dad use to be a big shutter bug. He took pictures of us kids ALL the time. We use to joke that he had pictures of us kids every minute growing up. I never understood that and I always thought the best memories are the ones in your head. The paper ones get lost or gray out in time and deteriorate. The ones in your head you keep for the rest of your life!
Dad developed Alzheimers and for the last three years of his life, he didn't remember much. ..but the pictures we showed him did trigger memories and opened a lot of happy conversations before he passed on.
I learned the mental pictures you take you don't necessarily get to keep the rest of your life. The pictures you took will last! Thanks again. You will have an order for pictures from me! Ted
