I am looking for a video camera system (new or used.)
Anyone have advice on what to get or what to stay away from... not wanting to go BIG$$$ Chase cam. Looking for something that would work on a miata or a hillclimb beast! :-P
STAN VANN - your videos are awesome! What do you use?
Any advice on camera or mounting would be appreciated. If you have one for sale, speak up! Thanks.

I think I already replyed to Ted, but in case others are interested: Mine is a very small hard drive or flash Samsung camcorder that includes a seperate bullet cam that I mount on the roll bar with a Chase cam roll bar mount. Samsung promotes them for extreme sports. The latest version is a SC-X300L. See www.samsung.com Also check E-Bay and amazon because they do discount them. Another small camcorder that looks interesting is the GoPro Hero 3. It is sold by a motorsport guy that runs a F1000. It has no seperate bullet lense but is very small. The videos on the company website look good. Here it is: www.goprocamera.com/index5.htm

I've found some video on "YouTube" about the Samsung sports camcorder I use. Overstock.com has them lisited. Just be sure to get the one with the remote bullet cam. They are available with or without.
