For those of you that don't remember Dave or this car - it was quite competitive at autox events in FSP. Faster than my Swift (not hard..lol) but not as fast as Zimmer's Wabbit. Don't know if you would still want to run it in FSP but if you are looking for a competitive autox car that can still be used as a regular driver, this is a very good buy.

Hey...i picked up an old Ford Fiesta autocross car (off this same forum a couple of months ago) with a similar history of speed in the old days...  It is good to see these cars get a good home and a chance to compete again. Plus, it keeps things fun by bringing out some old machines. The shiny stuff is nice, but lacks the character of the machines that have been lovingly "improved" since the day they left the factory. I look forward to seeing it - Good luck!!!! |
