I am looking for spare cranks/cylinder heads etc for a TR6, or spitfire. I live in NC, anybody have stuff they want to get rid of?

There are several folks in the club with decent stashes of Triumph parts. And if we don't have the parts, we know who does. Anything specific you need now, or are you just increasing your inventory? In which area of NC do you live?

I live in the western part near Asheville. I am looking to build a base of parts. I want to build a hot race engine but w/ spares...

Think I have a Triumph part or two. P.M. me with your needs and I will dig thru the museum. Have built several six-fires. And even a solo Herald. Plus a scary fast Vitesse.

In the Asheville area, Steve Eckerich is the best contact for Spitfire parts. He ran his Spit in autocross, hillclimb, and road-races. If you haven't run into him yet, ask around the HSCC.
Are you actively autocrossing now? If so, in what? (There are very few Spitfires autocrossing in NC, and I thought I knew all of their drivers.)

I am not autocrossing, SCCA Prod racing, very new to the scene though. I look to be in a complete car this spring, I am looking to stock up on parts. I want to play with a couple of concepts for my eng. I know that there is nothing new under the sun, but it is fun to try...

I might be persuaded to sell my spare TR6 cylinder head (had it for 25+ years - haven't needed it yet) and I might even be persuaded to heave it into the boot when I come to Asheville on 1-13.
