Details:
'92 Miata B-Package
P/S
A/C (blows cold, but belt is slipping)
Cruise Control - doesn't work (possibly bad switch)
Power Windows
Red Exterior/Black Interior
150K miles (just turned going to the Dixie Tour Event)
I purchased the car in November '05 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I'm not sure how many owners it's had, but I can tell you the work I/we have done to it within the last 3000 miles.
New Timing Belt
New Water Pump
New Valve Cover Gasket
New NGK Spark Plugs and Wires
New Head Gasket
New Exhaust Manifold Gasket
New Intake Manifold Gasket
New Radiator
New Heater Core
New Thermostat
New Battery
New Pioneer Stereo and Door Speakers (for C&C)
Replaced driver's side window regulator
Replaced windshield wiper motor
Replaced brake fluid reservoir gaskets
Scott Sawyer and/or I performed all of the work, so he can vouch for it.
The carfax search I did before buying it showed that it had been in two fender benders in its lifetime. It does have bondo spots on the front and rear, but nothing to affect the frame or integrity of the chasis. There is no rust anywhere.
The top is black vinyl and does have some cracking around the edges.
Mods:
Currently the car sits as an STS2 ride, but I will be swapping out all of the modifications back to the OEM parts I've held on to for the sale.
It also has a chrome style bar (double loop) that I plan on removing very shortly but can leave if a potential buyer is interested.
It has 16" Advanta Racing White 6 spoke wheels wrapped in Yoko's with decent tread life remaining. I'm not looking to sell my auto-X wheels/tires at this time.
It's a very fun car to drive, and a blast to have on a warm day with the top down. It gets 30 mpg as well and would make a good daily driver. Please let me know if you're interested. I can send pics if requested, and I'll have it at the event on the 18th.
Asking $2300. The car is located in Greensboro.
PM me for more details...
