Haha! It was a good spinout, well worth it. Go Team Nissan! We need to step up our driving to the next level guys. JR will get faster learning his new Azenis, this was his first race on them. Looking forward to the next race!

Good race guys. With a little more effort we could have gotten 1st, but maybe next time. I know personally I over drove my car and cooked/pushed a lot of the sweepers. I just didn't get it right today, but no biggie. I'll be back next time trying to work out the kinks.

Amazing how different two courses can be at the same site. I did not drive well today at all.

Yeah, you sucked the big one today. ;D No s hit...I blew the big one yesterday. Thinking about it afterwards I knew so many ways I could have improved my times. But hind sight is 20-20. I'm with Steve, it's amazing how differently you can run at the same site, but given two different courses. Points event #2 I ran great, but yesterday...ugh...

I totally hear you. I mean, I *technically* drove faster at Conti #2 than I did yesterday. I got 20th pax at the #2 and 25th yesterday. I do feel I drove better yesterday than any other race.... Well, we all just need to focus on stepping our individual games up for the next event. I'm glad that we are getting another non-points 12 hour race to test our cars out. If anyone wants a ride along or wants to ride along with me, feel free to ask. Yeah, you sucked the big one today. ;D No s hit...I blew the big one yesterday. I'll most definitly take you up on that, Tony. I felt like I did pretty decent yesterday, but I know there's a lot left in the car that I'm not getting out of it. Just have to figure out how I can get the rest of it out. I'll probably be calling on a lot of you guys for that sort of thing.
Can't wait for Wednesday though. I'll be getting some more seat time...out on the mountain type roads. Tail of the Dragon = AutoX Practice! (within reason of course)

That's a great idea. Sometimes you have to ride along with someone that scares the hell out of you to see different lines I'll most definitly take you up on that, Tony. Hopefully, both you AND Mike, will be there....I could use the help!!

The 12 hour charity event is going to be great, since it's a non points, there won't be as much pressure and it makes for a perfect practice session.
I plan on starting with my street tires to learn the course and find the optimal line, then slap on the V710s and go all out. I'll bring my tire temp gauge too and take readings. Should be a productive event.

Sure, everyone is welcome to ride along with me, and I'll certainly provide as much help as I can to anyone as well. I'm excited.... I'll also be on street tires though, and probably WORN AZZ street tires.....

Probably doesn't want to burn them up for a non-points event.

Well....time for the running tally on who's signed up for the Statesville event.
Ken Christopher - BS Steve Shin - GS Justin Alspaugh - BSP Tony Ignatz - TBS
So we've almost got our required 5 (4 of the first 7 entrants are Team Nissan people....go us).

I noticed both Rob Falkner and Wade Carpenter are registered. Team Europe is going to be tough to beat with these two and the other three who's times counted last event (Oppedisano, Brunelle and Canupp).
Damn those European car drivers! ;D

Sandbaggers! I think it should be illegal to have the course designer on your team.

They just barely got us last time with that crew...so I think we can get them.

Sandbaggers! I think it should be illegal to have the course designer on your team. Nah, someone has to step up and design the course and in no way should they be penalized for that. If no one in Pro cares no one in TC should either. Also, what about the people helping with course setup. I know you were partially kidding just want to avoid any potential misconceptions.

Yeah, I don't thinks it's a problem either. He doesn't run the course, just lays it out. Besides, it's Rob, he's gonna kick ass on any course, so it doesn't really matter!!! ;D

They just barely got us last time with that crew...so I think we can get them. Of course, we had Marvin Sightler, who will not be in attendance at Statesville. I hope that Mike Bright shows up.
