I'd went ahead and dropped Andy Crawford, no offense to Andy, but we haven't seen him at any events and he hasn't been on the board for a while.
If anyone objects to this drop please speak up.

I think that I might be the next to go. If everything goes well, the s2000 that I've been driving will be mine on Monday. I diddn't plan on getting rid of the Sentra for a while but... I keep refusing to pay what they want, so I may still keep the sentra. I'll let yous know more on Monday.

Sounds good John, hopefully we'll see you at Statesville in either car. You're still welcome to stay on the team if you want. Former Nissan owners are welcome to stay in Team Nissan, and having a member with an S2000 in AS won't hurt.

Did anyone else notice that Rob Falkner will be driving a 350Z in BSP at the Statesville event this weekend?

Did anyone else notice that Rob Falkner will be driving a 350Z in BSP at the Statesville event this weekend? I'm sure you noticed right away since BSP is your class, lol. Rob is also still registered in Pro with his Porsche, so not sure exactly what's going on.

Yeah.....I was the only one in BSP for a while.....then I popped on to find Terry Merrit and Rob in my class. Bad news for me....very bad news.
And no....Mike has not registered. Something to notice is that Rob's driving an 04....doesn't Mike have an 03? Guess it's a easy mistake to make.....but....kinda makes me wonder if Rob went and picked up a new car.

Sweet, I just saw that Lance pre-registered in STX, he has been our #1 driver at every event this season.
Lance Elbertson - STX Ken Christopher - BS Steve Shin - GS Justin Alspaugh - BSP Brian Schmitz - DSP Tony Ignatz - TBS
Hopefully Michael Bright will show up. I know Jr. Sightler and John Lambert are 50/50 for Sunday. Haven't heard anything from Steve Prince.

Bright is registered in a Boxter in AS... Falkner in a 350Z in BSP... Looks like they're swapping cars.

Do we still get to claim Mike for our team? Or do we get to swap Mike for Rob with Team Europe?
Temporary Mid Season trade?

Gah...things just keep getting uglier for me in BSP. The Deanes signed up too....
Pray for divine intervention and an inspired event.....

Excellent, we have 8 drivers in 8 different classes preregistered:
Michael Bright - AS Jr. Sightler - NGS Lance Elbertson - STX Ken Christopher - BS Steve Shin - GS Justin Alspaugh - BSP Brian Schmitz - DSP Tony Ignatz - TBS
At this point I don't think John or Steve P. will be showing up as I haven't heard from either recently.

Ok...so serious question here: We have two open spaces on the team (the space vacated by Andy Crawford and the 12th position we never filled). A friend of mine has been coming out to events and doing well...and when this concept started he showed interest in driving for Team Nissan. Only problem is that he doesn't AutoX a Nissan at the moment and probably won't any time soon (though he does own 2 Z Cars...a '76 280Z and a '82 Turbo). Dana's a great driver and could only help us out. He's been competing in Novice DS with his WRX.
I mentioned this to Steve yesterday and he said we'd have to put it up for the team. I for one say yes....and I hope you guys will all agree.

At this point in the season, I would not object to adding Dana to Team Nissan. He doesn't drive a Nissan at this point but he DOES own a few, and he is in the Carolina Z Club.
All of that aside, he is a pretty good novice driver too.
I vote yes.

I vote NO doesn't drive a nissan we already have a contributing Novice class guy....who's faster doesn't drive a nissan someone of this stature should not be able to benefit from our team's hard work so far this season.... I think that only contributing members should be able to.......nevermind. My vote remains No. Ok...so serious question here: We have two open spaces on the team (the space vacated by Andy Crawford and the 12th position we never filled). I think that's a bit harsh, Tony. Yes...He's not driving a Nissan at the AutoX's...but not because he doesn't want to. If he could...he'd be running his '76 280. Unfortunatly it's in a bunch of pieces at the moment. Dana is a Z Car guy to the core.
And while we already have one novice driver....we have two BSP drivers, are you going to boot one of us off too? What if another car showed up that was running Tire? Would you keep him out too?
I just don't see where the downside is.
Also...if Lance got rid of his Spec V...would you kick him off the team since he'd be in a Honda?
