Just so ya'll guys know, we have our latest member. Chris will be joining as another DS competitor. Also please keep me informed if you won't be at an event so we can fill that spot for the week if needed.
Todd is there anyway you can get a hold of the Deanes? I know they race in highland but I would love to have em at the next event.

Quick update...the Deane's won't be there on Sunday. I'm about 95% sure I'll be there. I guess we needa update the roster and try and get a head count for Sunday.

I'm not sure, but I don't think Tink will be there Sunday, and I don't see John White registered either. I know the Deanes won't be there, also. Can we not drop/add depending on driver availability?

Technically you can but I don't think it's within the spirit of the rules. For example, if a team had 15 "members" and simply filled up a 12 driver roster at every event would not go over well with the other teams. The intent of the add/drop allowance was to fill in empty slots, or substitute a driver who is not going to show up again for the rest of the season. This is why the max limit is 12, everyone felt that was enough members to provide at least 5 drivers from 5 classes at every event. Please also remember that every single driver who competes even once during a season must submit the $10 fee. We have to make this fair, because at no point do we want "temporary" drivers who never pay their $10 to contribute to a team's performance. |

I've made up a Tee shirt using a modified version of Erics wave I will be wearing it at the next event I can make these pretty easily so if someone wants one just provide the shirt and I'll make it up.  |

I will be there on Sunday.
But i will not be able to make the June, July, or August events---but i will be there from september on.
So i'm not sure what you guys want to do with me and matt----if he's gonna be there all summer then definitely give him the spot and i can serve as a backup.

I like that. Sorry it took me so long but I am finally registered. I was supposed to work and wasn't sure if I could make it but I ended up getting the shift covered. I find it pretty funny that out of 5 guys in STS, 4 are from our team haha. It also looks like we could have a problem filling 5 different classes. I only saw three on the pre registered, maybe 4 if Im missing one. I know Tink and Mark won't be there. Chris was first to ask so as of right now he takes the 12th spot. Todd if you could, find out from the Deanes if they are gonna be at more events this year. If not then I think we can fill those spots although I would like for them to remain members.

If you guys are having trouble getting 5 drivers from 5 classes this weekend, then you should definitely drop someone and have Matt P join the team. Chris and Matt should ideally be left on the roster for the rest of the season. That's what I would do if was team captain.
You could also drop one of the Deane's since both run in open BSP only one of their times count anyway.
Teams should definitely use add/drop if they have trouble getting 5 drivers in 5 unique classes. It's only when teams add/drop to get the fastest drivers at every event that the rule is abused.
