Yeah, that was me (following austin smith--29TDS) I didn't realize it was you until you passed and waved. Personally, I think I'm kinda getting the "consistency" thing. My runs were within a half second, or so. I need to step it up to the next level. I should've been in the 36's yesterday, perhaps even hoping for high 35's. I was actually referring to consistency from event to event. I was consistent yesterday between my runs-----consistently BAD! lol. I knew i should have been somewhere in the mid 33s. and ended up with a low 35. :thumbdown: Course absolutely kicked my butt--nothing else i can say. |

I think we need to recognize the one driver that inspite of the dificulties of dealing with equipment that is not competitive improved his times while the rest of us slowed down. Eric aka chunk13. I bet with a competitive car he would be hard to beat.

Can you re-install the stock mani? I was just wondering if you could either bump back down to your stock class (HS...?), or bump up to your SP class (FSP...?) and run in the "Tire" class. Just a thought...

Just a thought... if this is referring to me, the answer is i can put my car to stock, but i think the only class i can run in is STS cause my car was put on the unstable vehicles list: can still compete in STS this is prolly due to every other class allowin R comps, if i am not mistaken and i might be runnin a different car next time, if i get some seat time around town in it... |

I would be willing to be a back up DS driver if needed.... --the only 2 Mazdaspeeds should be on the same team.....right tink ;-) Wow sorry I've been off the boards for a bit, then suprised some folks by showing up at Conti for 5/13 CCR #3. I said I'd be out of town for the next couple of events, then my trip shifted a bit and I don't know whether I really missed 2 or just 1. At any rate -- MAN am I glad Chris Grande could be there to represent D stock, Team Rising Tsunami, and the Mazdaspeeds! I really stunk up the place and am not really helping the team much right now. Welcome aboard, Chris! I know you weren't pleased with your performance at Conti but you never are -- even when you kick everyone's butt... I know beating me is no challenge but you took the class and got points for the team, so I do hope you're satisfied with that. See you again soon! |

oH No3Z!!! tEh mAzDaSpEEd WiNz!! Congrats! Unfortunately i won't be at the next few events (CCR or SCR) unless i can somehow figure out how to make it to the July event (don't think it will happen). Heck, i may not even get to autox at all this summer---depends on the schedule of the Buccaneer Region i guess. Because of this, if you would like to replace me on the team then that is fine. I will be back in September thru November (unless something unforseen happens....) but will obviously do no good to the team all summer. But i am happy to act as a "stand in" instead of a full fledged member if someone else can make it to more events and therefore be more of an asset. |

Yea I can't wait for the next set of events. Just got the teggy back today with a whole new brake set-up. Slotted rotors, Hawk pads, and stainless steel lines. I can't wait to try em out once I break em in.

I will be placing myself in more of a support role for the june event since my car is not competitive. hnowever in july I should be running a more competitive car and perhaps I might break into the top three in class.
