Great 2008 season everyone, we finished 1st to repeat as champs! For 2009 we are thinking of changing our team name to TEAM SSR: We are overhauling our team for 2009. The Schoonmakers have agreed to leave the team, they are consistently top 10 pax drivers and it's simply unfair to have them on our team along with drivers like the Elbertsons and Donnie Jones. Here is what our team looks like for 2009: Steve Shin (STU Evo) Matthew Hand (STU Evo) Brian Schmitz (DSP SpecV) Jr Sightler (GS SpecV) Lance Elbertson (STX SpecV) Bruce Elbertson (BS RX8) Donnie Jones (DSP IS300) Gary Rogers (STS Accord) Chad Newton (STS Neon) Caroline Barbee (GS Mini) Patrick Doran (NSTS Civic) Please don't forget to visit our sponsor: Pineville Tire and Service. Located in Pineville in case you were wondering.

Alright. I can actually look forward to the team events now that Im on a team that is more competitive. No offense to my team last year but we did have 5 STS guys and towards the end of the year we had all of 4 drivers. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the team.

That's what I like the best about our team, we'll have to compete with each other to see which 5 contribute. Couple drivers in the same class on here....good stuff.

Now that is what I call a stacked deck! even discounting the 2 BS drivers. LOL good work. I now print my retraction regarding the stacked deck! I was curious about that one, the doubling up in AS was not a big deal in my mind because I think(and its just a quick thought here) one of your AS drivers might be able to pull off a NAS. Unless they are coming in from a different region of course.

Its ok, I know sometimes the mind moves faster than the fingers and you dont type a full thought! ;D

I've been autocrossing for nearly 30 years and Adam has been attending with me literaly since he was born almost 23 years ago. Our region was one of the pilot regoins for karts about 11-12 years ago. He started driving the Corvette when he turned 16 and it's often a very close battle. I've won several Divisionals, trophied at Nationals a few times and he has 2 Tour trophies, one win in a kart and 4th/14 in AS at Devens 2007. We will run wherever needed, but know this: I ALWAYS look at PAX results first. 10 months of autocrossing!! Can't wait for it to start! Al Schoonmaker AS 121

Based on Rob's list, here's what Southern_Shift has for this season:
Rank Driver Points 1 Elbertson, Lance 21927.5 2 Elbertson, Bruce 18278.75 3 Davidson, Kurt 17767.98 7 Shin, Steve 16114.35 8 Ignatz, Tony 15377.7 28 Ibach, Michael 10449.58 32 Sightler, Marvin 9859.575 44 Schmitz, Brian 7463.764 313 Schoonmaker, Adam 2068.2 360 Bright, Michael 1955 Unranked Schoonmaker, Alan
So not counting Alan S. because he's unranked, our average position is 79.8 with our other 10 drivers.
P.S. Robert Liu is on there twice. Once as Liu, Robert and once as Robert Liu. Dunno how I noticed while scanning for Mike Bright's position. Also surprised to see that Adam S. has raced with us already it seems.

Got it all fixed up there, good catch. Its kind of hard because I dont know everyone and then add in the reversing of names and it gets kind of hard.
