RT in national solo is for stock class only.. no other category.
Also on the evo online registration, there are only stock RT options.

Andy, you can always do the Triad School this Saturday and get faster. C'mon Andy! DO IT! DO IT! Haha, I definately need to. Or I need to move away from CCR where there isn't such stiff competition in STR, lol. I think I'll stick to the sidelines and the Auto Fair for this one. Thanks for the explanations.

No problem. Since this event will attract newer folks it just needed to be clear as to how you were going to run the classes

Good competition will help you become a better driver.

Thanks for the explanations. I just learned this weekend that Feinberg is switching to RTF... so I get to run against HIM. Let's talk about stiff competition in class

Yes chris that is correct. But you will get 6 runs on Saturday alone, If you do not make the top 32 in pax during your first 4 runs of normal competition.

Unfortunately I will not be able to run this weekend. I was really looking forward to this. We had a hiccup with coilovers, and car isn't going to be ready in time. Good luck to all those in ccr competing. Hope y'all bring the win home!

Well, hopefully I can make it to the Sunday Shootout. From my understanding, this thing has been advertised all along as a 4 run Saturday, 2 run Sunday schedule. I'm not going to be real happy if I can't run Sunday considering I have a $100 hotel room booked that I can't get out of now (guess I've learned my leason to not take the promo "non-refundable" deal). I completely understand why it needs to be done this way (the whole silence before noon thing), I just wish we had been made aware of it much sooner. Is this schedule (the ZMax one) going to be used in Atlanta too?

Zmax is different because of the 12pm start time on Sunday.
You will have your 4 competition runs on Saturday. After that is complete, everyone except the top 32 in pax will do 2 more runs, on Saturday which is the Last Chance Qualifier.(LCQ).

The Charlotte Shootout has been advertised as an All Day Saturday qualifying and Class Schedule from the Very start . It is listed on our rule set as such . We didnt want it that way but time constraints on Sunday wont allow anything else . It may be 9pm when you finish so that hotel room might be needed . Registration will be accepted up until 8am Saturday if we have not reached our capp .

It's a decreasing radius instead of increasing radius, but that sweeper looks a LOT like what we ran last weekend! And I hope everyone brought all their horsepower... that start looks like it's gonna be FAST!

I got word that some people on Facebook were worried about crossing the drainage area. If your memories are that bad, let me remind you we crossed it 3 time on April 7th. It is such a slight bump and adds to the technical aspect of vehicle dynamics.

Crossing it at an angle is not problem, its hitting it straight on that I don't like. I cringed and hesitated when we hit it almost straight on last time. It is a hard hit that isn't necessary.

Thanks for pointing me to the rules. I have been following this fairly closely since December and have been registered since February. I skimmed the rules months ago, but somehow I didn't know about the all day qualifying thing until the event schedule came out. Please take this as constructive. From my prespective, the special circumstances of ZMax weren't clearly and boldly communicated. Expecting that everyone will read the single line exception in the rules is not clear communication. On the "Concord 2012" event website, the line "a full day of SOLO on Saturday" is too vague. I had no idea until now what that line really meant and tried to get across. Those unaware of this, like myself a few days ago, may be/were expecting something different (2 guaranteed days of racing). Maybe I'm the only limp noodle!
Lastly, I don't want one minute misunderstanding to overshadow my appreciation and praise to all of the organizers who have worked really hard to get this show to live production. I am greatly looking forward to participating in this event, as well as Atlanta.

Noted, if it feels too hard, we will tweek it to smooth it out. Personally I like going over it, and the camber gains you get on the other side.

Indeed, I am still a fair weather racer! However, that course looks effin' awesome! we'll see, the rain percentage has been dropping:)

In April it was fine , In Feb , I hit so hard it broke the turn signals when the splitter shoved the bumper cover up against it and for approximately 3-5 feet I had no steering since the weight of the car was on the splitter . We WONT be going straight over the drainage , If so I will be sitting this one out and just working . Yes , it was that violent in a stiffly sprung , low car . I blew struts over bumps less severe .

I am greatly looking forward to participating in this event, as well as Atlanta. "The LCQ sets spots 33-48 in the Super Shootout. The LCQ format will run identical to the Standard Four Run Event in terms of Run/Work order. At most locations the LCQ will take place Sunday Morning. (ZMax will be the exception to this rule, as ZMax will run the Four Run Event, followed by the LCQ under the lights. There will however be a break between the two of approximately 45 minutes.) The Top 32 Drivers will NOT be allowed to participate in the LCQ. Top 32 Drivers will however need to report to their work assignments during the LCQ competition." Straight from the Rules and below came immediately after the quote you used which to me clearly states ONLY top Bracket Winners and Last Chance Qualifiers will run on Sunday "top bracket winners and "last chance qualifiers" will be running Sunday in the single elimination rounds to crown our first ever Super Shootout winner." Straight from the Rules , It has also been publicized everywhere that I have posted . I'm sorry if you overlooked that part .
