Just to refresh my memory, who's ZoomZoom? Does anybody have a pic of him or his car? I figure with a name like that he drove a mazda but seeing his car would help me remember.

Zoom-zoom is my arch nemesis and rival...99 miata 10ae with the same equipment 'cept for 15" rims and (ahem) kumho 710s vs. my Hoosier 14" inchers... cat and moused that boy the last three seasons... me chagrined he's gone now. He is a true Jedi...

YES I (zoomzoom) CHECK in NOW and THEN.
Auto-crossing in TN isn't as much fun as CCR. NO offesnse to TRSCCA. Just not the family I am accustomed to.
I have run two of the 4 events here in TN. They have 19 Autocrosses each year so I onl plan to go every other event to save $ on tires. They have high speed events here at our Nashville SuperSpeedway which isn't the best in my 10AE (-speed manual) and 3rd synchro is worn and every event has the Miatas in 3rd gear. Lots of Pro PAX drivers running at the local events that average 50 competitors and average 6 or more runs per event. Yes I said 6 or more runs times 19 events = $$$$MONEY for tires at midseason.
There may be a guest appearance in K-town this weekend. Seems I am still remembered there and that's cool. Hopefully people remember me for being helpful (I still get as much thrill from riding with NEWBIES and then telling them how to drop 5 seconds on their next run) and for being a straight-up competitor. I liked going head to head with Joey Sutton (ES early days) and PDawg and Ed Brackney (before someone decided 1.8 L Miatas in ES was fair). Mostly I like throwing the Miata around the track and having a BLAST!.
Earlier Rumors about ZOOMZOOM going SUBBIE can now be put to rest. No SUBBIE in the near future. My daily driver is now an Acura TL.
Hopefully the event is a GO (with the VAN replaced or repaired) and I can see all of you at K-Town.
Rich Little thanks for looking me up. I told you Cassion was fast in just needed a car that fits between the cones. I only know one girl that was brave enough to wea a shirt excaliming she was faster than the boys and the results sheet PROVED IT every weekend. (In pink racing shoes too, some of you should be ashamed). Steven is still the most dedicated Solo chair I have met so pitch in every once and a while. A good idea only becomes great when you volunteer to implement it.
Check in Later.

Hey Rich nice photo collection too. That was at NCAC in Greensboro last year (I think).
That whole bunch pictured is a FAST bunch and making more progress towards needing to enter Pro Pax class. Scott is taking the MININ against Subbie all wheel power and getting real close.. JB is making a well documented come back agter 25 years out with great support from his sile crew-member. And Sue does a great job with Registration and supporting Mark as he turns an ES car into a Club Racer (CSP in th emean time).
GREAT FRIENDS to autocross with....
