This was last years NS / AX.
I can guarantee you will not drive for a crappy 28 second course. The drag strip course was not my best. But we did not have access to the garage, so the usable course area was less than normal.
Marske's 42.2 on Sunday, he was 2nd in PAX
My 46.3 at Novice School

Yeah I received a warning on the second day that I was close to the limit. The car got louder in July when I put the single exit exhaust on. With the old Borla it was only around 92dbs.

2013 National Tour sound limit is 100DBs.. If you hit 97 you will be warned, go over more then once and your time for that run is disallowed. Per page 280 here scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/assets/2013%20Solo%20Rules.pdfMost local sites in NC like to be at or below 95... Honestly, 93 is what most people should shoot for. We don't need anymore reasons for the sites we have to be threatened.

Rick: Looking forward to some more great shots this weekend. Those rain pics were exceptional. I just wish you could have stuck around for the 3rd group, I would have loved to see a yellow S2000 sliding around a corner.
Sorry to see the Vette has moved on. It was quite awesome seeing it run through the pinchy Knights Stadium courses of years past. I still don't know how you ever got a clean run.

Course looks good, but tight. That must be why we aren't to expect 30 sec runs.

I was really hoping for some solid competition in STC this season. Although I missed the first event, I registered in STC and later switched to intermediate because that is where the STC drivers went. IMHO, three cars in a class isn't that bad. Others must think differently as I see one registered in Intermediate already.

Thanks Mike, I actually would have stayed out at the event longer but did not have the proper rain gear for my camera. I use all Pro stuff which is weather proof up until a point. The moisture was making focus lock very tough. I will get some good shots this weekend my friend. I miss that car alot. I was the sole owner and the car went through many stages of evolution from a Nitro Car to a 12:1 HighCR Stroker to a Supercharged T1 Car. I have already done a few mods to the Caddie so I may bring it out this year...I'm sure I cannot stay away for too long! ;D

The more I study this map, the more I like it. Is it taboo to talk about race lines?

I updated the course map and changed it up. In looking closer at the course, I had a safety issue, so I am going with something different. Sorry if your previous study sessions are now outdated.

Turtle, There will be one quick guy and one really nasty fast guy in an STC civic at most all the triad events this year.
