Course looks good, but tight. That must be why we aren't to expect 30 sec runs. tight Really ?? I see a couple of tight sections but much more open than anything ,,,,that is if you set up properly ...I was actually going to question the speed in a couple areas for a lot that small

Hehe! I went to Google Earth and they have an updated satellite view of Metrolina from what I have been using. And the dimensions are slightly different, so I needed to tweak it a smidge. It is almost the same, flipped 3 cones and slowed the middle up so I can have enough space for a corner capt.

Is the course going to be more-or-less the same for the novice school?

Is the course going to be more-or-less the same for the novice school? It will be similar, but will drive completely different. With a quite a few cones being moved to change the flow.

any chance of annual tech sticker being available this weekend ? I cut them the other night and left them with AJ to go in the trailer. I believe Marske & Kuhn are doing annual tech at the novice school for anyone that shows and again at the Sunday event.

Interesting, why do you use Flash? Do you animate a car through the course to test your designs? -Michael Although that might be cool to animate it, honestly I never even thought to do so. I use it because I can save elements and measurements as symbols and drag stuff onto the stage easily.

Assuming the weather doesn't change drastically I'll be coming out to this one.
Much needed seat-time!

They barely last the day. The annual stickers last for a year on the car in the elements.

Come on Walt, you know those personalized annual tech stickers cost far more than those crappy sheet-stickers that we use for regular events. Tell you what, if you really can't afford the $1 for the annual tech sticker, I'll cover yours this year. But don't expect any favors next year.

Do y'all plan on doing live timing? My focus this morning is on rebuilding one of the timing light stands that got broken in half yesterday, so I doubt I'm going to have much time to concentrate on live timing. I'll certainly try to get it up and running though.

Another great day with the CCR-SCCA. I got over 1000 pics today, developing them right now. Every single car was captured in multiple states of the driving. Each of you will be very pleased I think Hope to have them up by tonight.
