I didn't have times during my run group either... I was in group 4 just a sayin....I just drove the best I could on every run and took 4 - 2 seconds off on every one... as for times when the board wasn't working I walked over to the computer and looked at them... as for the tv we did not have time to get it hooked up and with it calling for a slight chance of sleet and wind not hooking that up I went to my excuse generator for that one. I'm in amazement of your every improving skills. I see a lady's national champion on the horizon! I don't think I could have been beat by a nicer person! Thanks again for all you do mrs duck. Thanks but I wouldn't go that far as a national champion... Zimmer does want me to drive the Rabbit at Nationals.. but that car still scares me alot.... I still gotta lot to learn for sure... but hopefully now with knowing how to drive a manual that'll help alot.. if I would have gone into 3rd on that back section I might have done better... but I'm not as comfortable with 3rd gear yet... plus I need to get some Kiss type shoes to add a few inches... but other then that car is frickin awesome.

I downgraded my coilovers this year to gain some comfort on the street and I already miss the old ones. You would be hard-pressed to find a better handling suspension setup for less than 2x the price of what is currently on Mike's car. And even then I think the improvement would be minimal.

Had we been able to get times in my run group. That may have been a lot different. But when you make changed but don't know if it helped or hurt your times it's hard. Atleast from my perspective. Where was the tv? I didn't have times during my run group either... Was there anyone there taking photos/videos of the event? It was my first one and I had a blast. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks to all involved!

TBall, if you need a hug just walk up the street to my house and knock on the door. I'm here for you in these times of need. Had we been able to get times in my run group. That may have been a lot different. But when you make changed but don't know if it helped or hurt your times it's hard. Atleast from my perspective. Where was the tv? Sounds to me like you're volunteering to take over timing! Appreciate it, man. I won't be there for the May 3rd event, so that'll be your first weekend going it alone. Good luck!!

Great job with the course, it was a lot of fun! And good seeing everyone again, except you Joe. I'm gently shaking my fist in your general direction Ha, ha! It definitely feels good to get a win against you and a solid class of STX drivers. With that said, I'm not going to get too excited as I know you're still adjusting to FWD and could definitely stand to upgrade the tires. Will Guy has some good tires/wheels waiting in the wings, Clyde will be back once his shoulder is healed, and Steve Darcy will be joining the fray if he can get his weekend schedules worked out. STX is going to be a blast! I can't wait to get down there. New super secret alignment and corner balance being done next week. Well not so secret but hopefully it will make the new suspension work. The ting is scary to drive in the ice and snow with the toe so far out.

Well I do have my trusty side kicks Alan and new guy. Being a good leader means knowing how to recruit the right talent. But seriously. What parts do we need to really make our timing top notch. How much are we looking at? Give me some numbers and items and let me work on something.

How much are we looking at? Give me some numbers and items and let me work on something. There you go, recruiting me to clean up your mess! On a serious note, I personally don't have an issue on anything with how timing was handled Saturday. I've worked timing myself and understanding the problems that can occur. But I do realize some people are pretty competitive, don't understand what all is actually involved, and they feel like seeing their times after every run helps them. I don't think that gives them the right to complain about it to the people that are trying their best to keep things running as smooth as possible but that aside, I'm wondering if this is possible: First a question, do our radios support multiple channels? If they do, and this situation happens again, how feasible would it be to draft an extra worker to look over the shoulder of timing (but not interfere with timing) and radio in the last run time to the person at time slips on a separate channel? This way they can jot it down on paper and still get the times out for those people that feel they really need them.

If this situation arises again , just put someone in the trailer on a radio (seperate channel from course workers) and a time slip writer with a radio and let them call times to the time slip person . Simple ,,and everyone gets their times on a time slip.

Great event as always. That tight section of the course in the back-left suuuuuucked... I wish I had about four more go's at it, this winter left my real rusty. See you guys next month, same time, same place. If you have trouble with back left sections, we are doing an Evo School at Metrolina on March 29th/30th Register HereIf this situation arises again , just put someone in the trailer on a radio (seperate channel from course workers) and a time slip writer with a radio and let them call times to the time slip person . Simple ,,and everyone gets their times on a time slip. That would work, we have extra radios to handle it. We did have the announcer computer up early in run group 3, so if you needed to find out your time, it was there. I knew what I ran on each run, because my co driver went over to the announcer area and found out for me and I did the same for Conevorkian.

THIS is why I like this group. The understanding of these situations, along with the willingness to aid a solution. GREAT idea with back up radio solution! Thanks Steven H and Hodges! The level of support we have for each other. I got Tball's bs meter for what it was. I take it he got beat by a girl lol.

But I will say that I'm bringing a can of whoop a$$ for the next course. Me and you Cindy. Head up it's going down. Lol
