A favorite event to be sure, but where is it being held this year? Are we going to have it in Winston-Salem again? That's got my vote for best 24hr facilities but granted I'm a bit biased towards Winston-Salem these days. Granted I thought it was a good site before I lived here. Half-bias. NOTE: I recommend a shorter course (in time) and one with a quick crossover, similar to the course in 2004. We had somewhere about 1000 more runs in 2004 than 2005 due to course length and crossover time. -Biggly

I talked to Steven at Lowe's and he said he was checking out a new site to see if it would work. Knights is definitely out since they have a game that weekend.

How long was the course in 2005? time wise I mean. greg About a 29-35 second course as I recall. It was a slightly miniaturized version of the North course at Nats in 2003 I believe set up by Tom Hoppe and Jim Pastorius. It was fairly quick with only a couple of slow sections. Specifically it had short crossover times (<23 seconds as I recall) and a quick finish without a lot of drama. -Biggly

As far as smiles per dollar, I don't need a pax Hey DY, where ya hail from? I'd rather have a medium length course, like 30-40sec. More seat time per run is more fun to me. Wonder what I'd PAX on R-comps? Still can't beat that truck!

"Wonder what I'd PAX on R-comps? Still can't beat that truck!" Not sure you will have to worry about the truck too much longer. I just got a Civic Hybrid that I am thinking about taking out and selling the truck . Woohoo Oh well I would like to be competitive, but I am mainly there to have fun.

Are there different classes for different size batteries? Does a solar panel put you in the SS class?
