This is not official yet, but close enough to release info and let you hounds search google maps..... Looking like the Continetial Tire Parking lot at their facility down near Westinghouse Blvd. Hopefully to be confirmed and listed on Monday.b Distance from UNCC 19.9 mi (about 28 mins) Works for me. ;D |

Sounds cool...and close enuff for FastFotos to drop by and get some shots of you all! Do you run your headlamps at dusk and dawn? How about the guys who don't have lights? I am already planning some awesome shots of racers during sunrise and sunset!

It is the lot near pioneer ave up near the trees. The course lot is ~480'x550' with another 300'x600' lot for paddock & such. There is a long access road which could hopefully be used as a moving grid.

I'll miss Dixie too! But thanks to Continental fer letting us come play on their pavement. As long as they have lights - we should be able to see what we hit.
Otherwise I'll just have to feel the thumping sounds as cones get flattened......LOL

Knights is at the Gold Hill Road exit, next ,(going North) is Carowinds, Then Westinghouse, where Continental is. I'm gonna stop by and look at it on the way home today.

I rode by the lot today at lunch time ..its a BIG lot did not see a lot of places to camp but there is a littel grass out front with a few tables..I dont live to far away so I dont know if im camping or not..but there are plenty of places to eat and a hotel one exit down...westinghouse i exit 1 going noth take the exit.. at the light go left back under 77 cross the tracks turn right.. cont is the first left the lot is at the end of the road... and coming south just turn right at the light and cross the tracks yada yada yada
