Well put Alan lol. I realized some people didn't know where the display was. I was hoping there would have been more information when I pulled the report. Oh well.

aww, i was hoping to see my times and compare, but all it shows is DNS. what does DNS mean? I was one of the timing trainees. Sadly, since we didn't run numbers and I am not a car/driver savant like AJ I was using the SWAG method. If you ran numbers your times are probably right If you ran a unique car some of your times are probably right If you drove a WRX or a miata your times are probably someone else's Sorry for any disappointment, hope you all still had fun and hope to see you at future events. As for your DNS, your times were probably entered on another car, but at 43.x you beat my time so I demand a rematch my car isn't something I'd call unique, but if i remember right, it was the only civic running at the novice school. either way, i definitely had fun and i'm so hooked i can't wait to run again. i just might have to drive the 2 hours out to black late since i don't think i can wait until april to participate in another event. i was gonna try to make triad's test and tune, but i think that's the same day as my tax appointment. as for a rematch, i'm always down. haha. what do you drive? i think the rain helped minimize any power difference between my car's meager 140hp and some of the other cars running that day. i'm pretty sure in the dry my car wouldn't be nearly as close to some of the others since they'd be better able to put the power down.

If you were in the run group I was timing you probably just had bad timing (pun intended) and rolled up when I was getting behind on entering cars and would just pick the number I thought was the prettiest. My apologies. I'd say you did well based on that time though, so go buy yourself a trophy . Black Lake is worth the 2 hour drive, you should definitely come out. as for a rematch, i'm always down. haha. what do you drive? i think the rain helped minimize any power difference between my car's meager 140hp and some of the other cars running that day. i'm pretty sure in the dry my car wouldn't be nearly as close to some of the others since they'd be better able to put the power down. I drive a Miata, so no worries about me outpowering you! And if you haven't already, look up the PAX system; it's basically a handicap given to cars in different classes, so you can compare your times to what you could theoretically do in a different car. It's not an exact science, but it's the best we have. It's also great flame war fodder See you at Black Lake.

Yeah, sorry, didn't know this was ever going to see the light of day... but glad you posted it, at least I got to see how I compared to my co-driver.

Come out to Black Lake. You won't be disappointed at all. It's well worth the drive. Glad you came out and glad to have helped instruct you a little. I was hoping to be able to sneak a run in your car to see what the new Civics can do. as for a rematch, i'm always down. haha. what do you drive? i think the rain helped minimize any power difference between my car's meager 140hp and some of the other cars running that day. i'm pretty sure in the dry my car wouldn't be nearly as close to some of the others since they'd be better able to put the power down. Power isn't everything. I drive a Mazda 3 2.SLOW I probably have the same, if not less horsepower as you. It's how you drive it and using what you have to it's biggest potential.

Alan you've brought tears to my eyes. Talking about pax and comparison and all. Just to think you were sitting in that classroom last year Great to have you around dude! Black Lake is totally worth getting up at like 3am and driving down and coming home at about ten or later lol. New pavement is AWESOME and VERY tire friendly now
