Details coming this weekend. Sunday March 24th at Michelin's tire test facility in Lauren's, SC
This event is hosted by SCR as their first points event and CCR's third points event. Michelin has added strict Supplemental rules. These will be available when registration opens. As always, NO METAL OF ANY KIND on ANY pavement! If you have a canopy, it must be on the grass or have something under the legs. If you need to jack your car, you must have something under your jack and stands. Wood is sufficient for all cases. Some rules are changing! The access road MAY be two ways now. Competitors MUST be OVER the age of 18 with a valid drivers license.

" you must have someone under your jack and stands." Is it ok to use stray kids for this?

About time the access road was 2 ways...Waiting till run groups ended and driving through the gravel was annoying!

Oh and how is Intermediate class going to be done? I'm pretty sure SCR isn't doing one like this.

Since I can't make the Black Lake event, I think you Intermediate guys should just run the open classes or pro. There's no sense in you guys extending your points lead on me or anything. What fun would that be?!

Since this event is run by SCR, will our annual tech stickers work, or will we need to go through tech on site?

I will verify, but our annual techs have been honored in years past

I LIVE for paperwork A day without paperwork is like a day without sunshine. I can find paper files in my sleep. I'm a career bureaucrat so I guess that's why I got drafted. I think it's more boderline insanity after 25 years of working for Civil Service. We have forms for EVERYTHING. This is what I like about this message board. It's fun and y'all are a good group to banter with.

I hate the Registration process for SCR!!!!!!!! they will not let you register without prepayment for this event in our REGION we need to control the running of the event. NOT SCR!!!SCR, I am sure has asked the CCR board of Director's to use our site?
they owe me money from last year and have not got my money or credit, I hear they have had a few accounting problems I don't trust them with my credit card info.
I want to pay on site like i do for a CCR event that this is suppose to be.

I registered without paying... there is an option that says "other payment options" when you register. Pay on site is one of them listed in that tab.

Rob - I'm pretty sure the credit card info you enter is kept in the motorsportsreg system, and SCR never sees your account number. If you have a credit coming, contact Roy Blakeney roy@scsportscar.com (Their new Solo Cheif) about getting it applied to this event, or getting a refund.
I may be wrong, but SCR organized this event and invited us along. While Black Lake may technically be in CCR Territory, I see no issue with SCR holding events there. They have even more trouble getting and keeping AX sites than we do. Piggy-backing with them probably saves CCR alot of money, and makes it feasible for SCR to even have the event at all..
I'm not privy to all the history between SCR and CCR over the years, but I keep hearing tid-bits of animosity here and there, and I personally would really like to see that stop. Regardless of what may have happened in the past, we are all SCCA. We support each others events. When we have trouble, we help each other best we can.

It says right at he bottom of the payment page "prepayment is not required for this event". Read carefully before going off on the good people of SCR.

I do not see why we have to be the one invited to a event in our region. they should be the one invited to our events in our region. the SCCA bylaws has covered this type of infringment of other regions using facilities in our region. just want to protect sites in our region. rob
