Who can participate in the fun runs? Only registered drivers?
Thanks, Jake

Registered drivers in vehicles that have passed tech inspection in the morning. Fun runs are time permitting with enough interest.
Also note, we will need a handful of workers to cover the course for the Shootout. We will ask for volunteers after we announce the participants.

Has anyone else had trouble with registration going through? I get all the way to the payment portion, but it then tells me my payment didn't go through. It also doesn't appear to matter what payment method I use, which is odd. Thanks.

Yes I have heard there was a problem with PayPal... This is an issue for Aj or tony to fix I think if its a PayPal problem, as far as not accepting any payment options first I've heard, but I've been on a mountain for 2 days, Aj might have to answer that one I think as well. I so really don't want to get all these cash payments on site.

So what's with the top drivers per bracket, why not top overall. Does it not pay off to be fast? So its possible that the guy that's second fastest pax doesn't get to represent his club, but someone way slower does. Maybe it's the little league "everyone's a winner mentality"?

Because this isn't SRS BZNS nationals or anything, so we think making it so everyone can actually have a chance to support their club is more fun than just letting the same 2-3 people from each do it every time.

I will be setting up once again Friday at 12. Let me know who can help out.
Also, I am calling out for some people with a clear speaking voice that can handle the new PA System and announce. We gotta have some bad knees amongst our membership, those looking for a non running work assignment.

Sorry if I'm reading this thread wrong, but does this mean that if I'm showing up to just race for fun then I am only going to get 2 laps total for the day?

*stretch*
I'm back in town long enough to attend this one, even got some new shoes for the Lotus.
Anything specific I can do to help out? Safety, setup, tech, announcer, novice coaching?

Adam. It's a club cup. I feel this is the better way of doing it. Seen as this event counts towards points for both series, there will be an abundance from both clubs. This format will demonstrate club depth rather than fastest outright club. Yes it is sort of everyone gets to compete but not quite. Consistency still pays off. Along with being clean.
