if'n you run Ken at the 24 - I'll just have to run colin (heh, heh...nuttin scares that boy!) and if'n ya run Misti..well, i'll have to ..um..run...well...lessee...um..maybe Mrs. Vlad??? I'd run Sheryl, but she positively hates that car and would burn it if i didn't keep it hidden.. Can't hire Mrs. Vlad , she has a real car, a Ferd. Try for Kelly, she will drive a chebbie. |

I think I will just come and drive my old rusty fiesta and if da muffler don't fall off again, I might even get to play all weekend. I'll let someone else figure out all this points junk. 90!!!! what!!! can't be....I have the same 2.8 and I bet it ain't even close to that...of course if I fixed the leaking valve and tuned it might help. Well, bring it on at the 24 hours...I'll bring mine - paint and all. If Ken and I don't kill it at the NCAC ,will be there. Maybe Ken wants a shot ,too. Hoping Misti will also drive in ladies. James Can ya run in two different classes? |

The same things wrong with the cup is the same thing askew in the proposed manufacturers' championship. Seems like two fords will take thier class in CCR.No chebbies in one . And i finally feel vindicated by winning our latest auto-x against 3 chevvies. One a road race car on slixx. and with less cyinder than any of them (4). So ken and I will be there in a poorly prepared chebbie. But bring your rule books, it IS a C/P car, No sniveling. We can only do second, but those are points,too. Since when does careful planning and strategy not count? Rules are the same for all. James Why can we only do second? It's the numbers, pal. |

I'm out...due to my inability to get the car running right(it's still not fixed) in both time and expense.
I was really looking forward to seeing just how competitive the CSP class is in NC.

I wuz plannin' to have a little showdown wid James at the 24 hours and register the Fiesta and Slowmaro. Since you get an unlimited number of "looks" at the course, it seemed like a good idea and wouldn't be an unfair advantage (after all, I can only run two cars as much as I could one). But, registration in more than one car for the 24 hours may need to be an "exception" that is approved before the event. Otherwise, I am bringing just the Fiesta and James will have ta play wid hisself.... |

Posting this so u can see, obviously.
Decided to drive and run on DOT tires so I dont have to do a whole bunch of changing on Saturday. I have to much going on and I have to come back to charlotte after my runs sat. Then I'll go back up late sat night. So i'm gonna swich to SM2(SSM) when i get there friday night.
Also, does anyone have some spare room on a hotel floor that I may use Friday and Saturday?

Whoo hoo...Day 1 is dun and was fun. 5 run groups seemed confusing at first, but worked out. Course felt a bit gritty and slick - lots of turns and plenty long enough.
Good to see so many CCR folks out there. Hopefully not too many "enjoyed" the brewfest - If you did, I hope you took along a couple guys from the other clubs and made sure they were in similar condition! LOL.
Whew - got hot out there - really envious of you folks who have air conditioning in your race cars, or a radio for that matter.
Looking forward to seeing you all there again tomorrow! The Mrs. did her first offishiul AX today and I think had fun.
