My clutch gave out while cruising yesterday. Hopefully I can replace it this week. I was looking forward to zmax.

We just got the clutch changed on Lisa'a STC Impreza. It was slipping really bad at Black Lake and then on the way home. If I hit the gas hard in fifth the rpms would rev up, but I wouldn't go any faster. I didn't realize how much the old one was slipping until we put the new one in. Wow! My N/A Boxer torque can now make it to the wheels!

i am looking forward to going back to zMax after the poor weather last time. i am a bit nervous about moving to STX from DS although it will only be changing the PAX multiplier since i am competing in the Novice index anyway. to me, STX denotes that you actually know the basics of driving and prepping your car and i am definitely still trying to comprehend the fundamentals of both.
i hope my engine mounts are worth the jump in class! i couldn't stomach the idea of buying new stock mounts when i had my engine swapped(stock). they needed replacing and were sloppy even in new condition so out they went.
see you guys and gals at zMax!

actually it only means you've made some mods to your car and can't run Stock anymore LOL ... my first ever a-x was in STS , since I came to the sport with a car that already had a CAI and a header .... welcome to the mods addiction

I came up with the name seen as CMS is known as the beast of the southeast. ZMax is a fantastic site! Plus the course is going to be VERY different from normal. Some nice challenges in there if you dont read it right. Polish funnel? Hmmmm ....

This is why I missed the autofair, and what I'm most excited to test out at zMax: some scaffolding and a chair. There will be carpet, etc. in to still be class legal, but that won't be in for another couple days.

I don't think you can let the weather conditions determine what the rules and regulations concerning PAX modifiers are... sounds like a cluster waiting to happen, say, when it starts raining halfway through an Intermediate run group. I say either allow it or don't. The gray area will come back and bite us if we leave it open to interpretation like that. But being an SSM car that has been running on street tires ever since I came into the class, I am all for this motion. there should not be a tire pax in a class that is already paxed. that is why we have tire class. pro definitely shouldn't have this. if you are running pro then it is expected that you are fully prepared for all conditions an contingencies. I thought this was only a scr thing. its too confusing and its already been covered with other classes.
