Yeah, as much as I was enjoying the RT-BS, it should be on its own thread. (Anyone care to launch the first round, ON ANOTHER THREAD?) On subject: George Bowland and Blair Underwood are both registered for Z-Max. That's two good reasons to be there, even if you're not planning to run. If you don't know George, it's time to learn, grasshopper.

I joined at Metrolina. Don't I get a membership card and a secret decoder ring or something? I'm sure this ain't th eplace to bring this up so some directioin is needed. Thanks in advance. |

They were sent into the SCCA, so its up to them... I'll double check to make sure they were sent in.... Come see me on Saturday

thanks Cyndi... I also just received a message from SCCA saying that something was incomplete. I found this out after I wrote on here. I have asked them what is needed as they didn't state in the email. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon.

The original argument was brought up by Casino that they be allowed to run the tire modifier for rain events since ST cars have a huge advantage there with R-comp cars not having that PAX modifier. The original thought was brought up that since RT* is a national class then people should be able to run N/I/PRT*, but it didn't escape me that I could run PRTA in rain events to combat my disadvantage to ST* PAXed cars in the wet. Just playing the hand I was dealt. |

Does anyone have an extra set of those Tire Rack tire totes? I would assume they give those things out like candy at national events... If so, I'd buy a set off someone on Saturday. Just let me know what you want for them.

So by the rationale of allowing classes that run R-Comps/Slicks an additional modifier during wet events all ST classes should be allowed the same modifier during dry events.
Fair is fair.

Trailer drop off can be done, but only when we are on site, typically 12-5.
I don't understand why no one has received their membership info yet. That junk was sent off a long time ago. I will follow up.

I had the DD break this week and an unexpected thing come up for work and it's just beyond a bad idea to spend Saturday and Sunday racing. Sunday, I really need to be there. They were a few times last year based on pre-registered people... but we have a few people register on-site, a few no-shows, and a few class-swappers the morning of the event, so it makes it difficult to stick to predetermined run groups. Its a bit "easier" to work up run groups right after registration closes and before the end of the drivers meeting. Note, "easy" in quotes, lol.

I'm working on it belcher. There is another concern there.
I get scared pre announcing run groups. I'm trying to get back into doing them. I usually have a rough idea for most groups.
We are hoping to have live timing yes. Time slips are making a return as well along with the possibility of barcode scanner.
